T&S Buttons Lanka has been established in 1998 as a basic button manufacturer with a work force of 60 and production capacity of 75,000 grosses per month. Further, with the rapid growth of apparel business in Sri Lanka, management of the company has decided to expand the factory to fulfill the button demand in Sri Lanka. In order to meet the desired demand, company has invested on new state-of-the-art machineries which helped in making more complex, innovative and high fashion buttons that enabled us in capturing high-end market business. In doing so number of employees has been increased up to 250 in year 2008 which allows us in meeting desired out-put of the company more effectively and efficiently. As a result company’s turnover has been increased up to US$ 4 Mn in year 2008. Besides, we expanded our presence in India having a vision of capturing Indian export and domestic apparel market which can be considered as an apparel hub in South-east Asia.
